Baby Blessing

We blessed Quincy in church on February 17th, 2013.  My mother made Quincy a silk dress that was absolutely beautiful!  My parents and my sisters Kira and Suzannah flew in.  We also had lots of Christians family and friends come up.  Quincy was a trooper the whole day and all in all the day was a huge success.  Here are a few pictures from the day.  Thank you to everyone who made the trip and helped out (and a big shout out to my mother in law and the faux family for doing all the food!)

Valentines Day

Valentines Day

We had a pretty low key valentines day.  My parents and sisters were coming in that night so we spent most of the day cleaning and getting ready for them. (I'm not complaining, I'm so happy they came and my house needed a deep clean!)  We agreed not to get each other valentines gifts, and instead bought a nice camera, so hopefully the pictures will get better.  I also made sure to remind Christian to get Q a gift.  Growing up my dad always got us something on valentines day and that always meant a lot to me.  I always knew that even if I didn't have a "valentine" I could always count on my dad and knew he loved me.  I want that tradition to continue in our family and want Quincy to feel those same feelings.
